1332 Mirabilis/Solomani Rim (Solomani Confederation InfoNet)- A crowd of 60,000 turned out yesterday to greet the Baron of Buenos Aires on Terra. What an amazing welcome from these wonderful people, averred his Excellency Alyn hault-Jackson Espino upon his entrance to the grand park in the capital. The Baron meets today with government officials for trade talks. This is his first stop in a grand goodwill tour of the Confederation.

1332 Mirabilis/Solomani Rim (TNS)- This morning IMV Coeur d'Or jumped insystem from the Imperial border world Iilike.  The Baron of Buenos Aires in the southern American continent on Sol. The Baron is due to spend several days on Mirabilis before traveling on to the Bootes Cluster and other stops in the Confederation.

1629 SIRIUS/Solomani Rim (TNS)- Representatives of the megacorporation Delgado today announced a cutback in transshipment through the Sirius system. In the weeks since the disappearance of the subsidized merchant starship Northroyal Elspeth, Sirius system authorities have requested assistance from the sector government. Despite the recently increased customs presence in the system, another ship has disappeared in transit between Lily Station and the outer system. Yesterday an entire Imperial Navy CruRon, or Cruiser Squadron, and a flotilla of gunned escorts arrived in system from Iilke. Commodore Benjamin Magnan announced that things will change in the Sirius planetoid belt.

"We're certain that the Navy will quickly uncover the cause of these recent disappearances."

Navy assurances notwithstanding, Delgado is the third major company to reduce its presence in the Sirius system. Both Sternmetal Horizons and Tukera Lines have announced scheduling changes in the wake of recent events in the system.

1827 TERRA/Solomani Rim (TNS) - Sir Alyn hault-Jackson-Espino, third Baron of Buenos Aires announced at a press conference yesterday, that he intends to set out on a multi-world tour of the Solomani Confederation in the coming year. The Baron of Buenos Aires, Alyn hault-Jackson-Espino, ascended to his position just last year following the death of his father, Admiral Sir Hiro hault-Jackson-Espino, who was granted one of Terras premier baronies after a series of military and political victories in the Diaspora sector. Alyn was the second in line for the Barony after Sir Hiros death 1118, but his older sister, Danielle declined the accept the title. Sir Alyns letter of patent was published in the Holiday List of 1119.

Prior to the new Barons was investment, Sir Alyn received an honors degree in Interstellar Relations at Imperial University on Dingir. After returning to Terra he began studies at the Hasegawa Univesity Terran College of Government. Although he has worked toward finishing an advanced degree, the Baron has advised that he needs to travel to the Confederation to continue his research on the history of the Third Imperium and the Boötean League. While on his research mission, the Marchioness of Terra has charged Sir Alyn with encouraging trade and amity between the Imperium and the Solomani Confederation. Along with the Baron and his staff, members of the diplomatic staff and representatives from the corporate sector will travel to Twylo, the Boötean League, Hamilcar, and other worlds on the rimward edge of the Confederation.
